About me:

I’m a painter based in Southern California. I started painting when I was 12 or 13, when my aunt introduced me to acrylic, then oil painting. After becoming more serious about art in high school, I attended the Laguna College of Art and Design, a traditional figure-based painting program.

After two years at LCAD, I decided to take some time off to avoid having to take online classes in 2020. During my time off, I returned to plein air landscape painting, which had been my main artistic focus before attending LCAD, and also began to make digital art. In 2021, I decided to transfer from LCAD to Boston University. At BU my practice shifted towards making larger oil landscapes, each based on an initial plein air sketch.

I graduated in May 2024 and moved back to my home state of California, which I am looking forward to painting again.

When not painting, I enjoy playing guitar and watching bad movies with my brother.
